President's Reception - the evening of Thursday, June 4th at McMaster University

Join us for an unforgettable evening at Alumni Memorial Hall, a McMaster landmark that has inspired connection, conversation, and community for more than 40 years. This heritage venue-rich with intellectual, cultural, and social history-sets the perfect stage for a distinguished President's Reception.
Guests will gather in the Great Hall, where historic architecture and timeless charm create an atmosphere of sophistication. Enjoy appetizers and a beverage while socializing with the conference attendees. Weather-depending, we will be able to enjoy the stunning outdoor landscape backing onto Crown lands from the patio.
Each ticket includes appetizers and a complimentary alcoholic beverage.
We are thrilled to facilitate visits to the W. J. McCallion Planetarium where organized sessions will offer participants the opportunity to learn about planets, stars, galaxies, and other fascinating objects in our universe, while stargazing in the planetarium's night sky.
A limited number of tickets are available at no charge through our conference website, please create a new order - do not attempt to add this ticket to your previous order. Register/Buy Tickets. Charter bus transportation to the planetarium will be available; details will be provided to ticket holders.
Transportation to the event will begin at 5:00 pm from the HCC/Sheraton and will shuttle back and forth until 8:15 pm. Ride share from the Sheraton to the venue is ~$12-15 per way or public transportation bus #1 and 5 pick up/drop off outside of the Sheraton and can take you to the McMaster campus.

5km Fun Run/Walk
Start your day with the CSTM 2026 Fun Run in Hamilton.
Join us on Friday June 5 at 6:30 AM for a scenic 5K run or walk along a route inspired by Hamilton's waterfalls and escarpment trails. Whether you're looking to get active, connect with colleagues, or simply enjoy a fresh morning start, all paces are welcome.
